Hi Folks currently looking for any advice on changing gearbox so that I can fit an LSD to car.  It currently has an 02T box fitted but I have been told that to fit a good LSD for purpose of rallying I would be better changing the box.  Does anyone have any suggestions of box/lsd that will marry straight onto the engine.

lupo gti or polo gti from the other 1.4 & 1.6lt as the same base block....I think...

No & no VAG car runs a mechanical LSD as standard....all open diff & the MQB cars run a modified haldex electronic diff lock device which is outside the gearbox case..

 

Wavetrak, pelaquine, Quaife etc make LSD..just see if they make for the gearboxes you have or can fit to your car...
