MIB2 Glove box module wiring diagram

Featured Replies

Does anyone have or know where i can get a diagram for the connections at the back of the Module located in the glove box amundsen unit. Ive just bought a high line reverse cam and need to find out which connections are Can high and low. The other connections for the camera are straight forward for pins 6 and 12 then a positive and negative supply connection

Not sure which ones they are but the CAN wires will be twisted and orange/brown and orange/purple do not know which is high and low :-(

John

surely this will be in ErWin?

The wires from the camera are like that as well. I will have to have a good  look i guess when I remove the module. I haven't used Erwin before perhaps I'll have a browse tomorrow.

Which camera did you go for? Would you be able to document the process, including how/where you thread the wiring loom? This is a project I’d like to do in the future when funds allow!

I will have a good attempt. I went for the more expensive set up with the washer set up spliced off the rear wiper. I can't see the point in having the camera if it's poor quality and even worse getting covered in **** Everytime you go out and you can't clean it .http://www.cars-equipment.com/en/shop/rear-view-cameras-3/oem-highline-rvc-rear-view-camera-3/ the washer kit is there if you scroll to the bottom of the page. It arrived today and feels and looks very good. Im hoping after fitting footwell lights this will be easy.

That’s one I’ve considered getting. I will be very interested to see how you get on, as I do believe that for the guidelines to work correctly, the camera needs to be calibrated with a calibration board (found info on Erwin). Did it come with coding/calibration/fitting instructions?

It came with what you see in the advert. No paperwork at all.

The cables appear to be all ok  along with the washer splitter. It looks like the company are a bit crap once you've purchased though. Funny enough i was in czech republic in prague last week.I must say they are the most miserable load of people i have ever come across hence why i was in no rush to get the train to the skoda museum . Couldn't wait to leave .
