Fabia II 1.2 TSI Servicing

Featured Replies

Good morning all,

We have a Fabia Monte Carlo Estate 1.2TSI 2013 and on the dash it has flagged up its next service 47000 miles.

Now when l enter my details on Skoda page it talks about a cambelt change....l thought it was a chain?

Fuel filter - is this a serviceable part or lifelong for the TSI....l have read both on here???

Lastly what would l expect to have serviced at 47000, is it a major or minor?

Any advice be great.

Thanks

Hughsie

PS. Does anyone have a link to a PDF of service requirements?

What servicing has it had done already?

Was it Minor 2014,

Major 2015 (Pollen Filter Change),

Minor 2016, Brake Fluid Change / MOT.

2017 Major.     Anything done different from a minor.

**So 2018 'Minor Service / Interim Service.**

Or had someone it put on Variable / Flexible Servicing?

So maybe Minor at 2014 / 9,400 miles / 372 days or sooner, then to Variable?

Check with Skoda UK CS or a Main Dealership what there system shows has been done.

It is a Timing Chain.

You can buy a change the For Life Fuel Filter because they are not for a life time.

Spark Plugs are due a change if not done.

Not much gets done at Main Dealer Services, so best have stuff done as the car needs it.

Check things.
