Seat Toledo Style 1.2 TSI

I just returned the keys to a Seat Toledo back to my dealer today while my Fabia was in for a repair.

So here is a wee review on the Toledo.

First impressions of the Toledo were it looks huge in white or filthy white as the dealer just supplied a very dirty loan car.

I then had to reverse down a narrow service area in a car I did not know but thanks goodness for Park Pilot.

Jumping into the drivers seat was a very familiar layout/switches to my mark 3 Fabia so it did not take long to get used to.

On the move I found out for a bigger car that it was nice and light to drive and felt nippy (at the time I did not realise it was a 1.2), it was quite a quiet engine, engine spec is the 110bhp version and in my hands and wife's the car returned about 30-31mpg.

spec for this car which I had was:

Auto air con

Park Pilot

Aux and Usb, Bluetooth 

leather steering wheel

Armrest

Cruise Control

Front and Rear Electric Windows

Front and Rear heated Windows

Cornoring Fog Lights

Hands Free

Seat Connect which allows you to upload photos via a SD card.

With having two young kids it was essential to have a big car and it swallowed up two buggies, my only gripe is the isofix does not have guides to guide the car seat to the isofix bars and we found it fiddly to get the seats in, a trip to mothercare solved that problem.

Another Gripe was the glovebox with the seat connect system installed leaves nothing space wise apart from a pair of gloves!!

I really enjoyed the car, it's well built, sporty instrument cluster and if it was in my price range for a brand new car I would have one.

We did consider a Octavia before we bought the Fabia but my wife was not sure on the style of the hatchback with the sloping back window, but after a week of driving the Toledo she said to me she hated it at first ie the sloping rear window, but grew to like it and got used to parking it.

So would I have one??

Yes I would but it would be my second choice as i would have a Octavia with the 1.2tsi as my first choice.
