1.4 TSI spark plugs

Featured Replies

How long should spark plugs last before they are changed at service, mine where replaced at 32K

Many Techs now change at the 2nd Major Service,  this was how it should be when cars were on Fixed Servicing & now even on Variable / Flexible,

so @ 4 years , so about 40,000 miles as a max,  as that is the Service Guidelines,

rather than when many used to say @ 60,000 or 70,000 miles, 'they are long life' etc,

where actually some were expiring prematurely.

A total Rip off when charging a Major Service and no Spark Plugs replaced or Air Filter as happens at 2 years or sooner, (or even checked)

same charge as at 4 years.
