Hi I have a fabia 2011 1.6 tdi 105bhp. 

The eml comes on every morning. I have a cheap reader and it says fault p0111 intake air temp sensor 1 circuit low. 

It resets for the day with no lights coming on but as soon as I start it in the morn it comes on. 

The IAT in deg F. When looking at the live data it is always 266 Dec f. This is whether the car is hot cold etc. 

Can someone pls tell me where the sensor is on the engine and if this is really likely to be the fault.?

Yes it sounds like the sensor is at fault or you have a wiring issue. 

 

Sensor will be in with the MAF sensor. Look at the plug it will have 4 wires if IAT is in it.
