Broken rear seat release mechanism

Featured Replies

One of the rear seat release buttons on my Fabia has broken, does anyone know the part number or part name so I can get it replaced?

Edit to add:  And can anyone advise how I get the remnants of the old one out?  Is there a way to actuate it meantime so I can still fold the seat?

Yes, they seem to only have the plastic surround (rosette) and that's for the mark 1.

....And Skoda direct? Sometimes, main dealers are cheaper then you think as other outlets or breakers yards either charge more, thinking you will not know this or don't know the price anyway and just have a stab in the dark at it. You could always try a breakers yard from ebay, too. Look for the correct model being broken and ask them how much .

Thanks, I'll try the main dealer.  That's still where I get it serviced anyway but I thought it would be a simple enough fit for me to do if I could order the part online.

I'm still keen to find out if anyone knows how I can get the seat to fold in the meantime, I've got some stuff to shift!
