The brochure claims that the Scout gets 'black roof headlining'.

 

The car we test drove and all those advertised on Autotrader have the regular grey / beige headlining.

 

I'm guessing the black headlining is reserved for the Sportline and as usual Skoda UK have make a mistake in their brochure?

 

Anyone have a Scout?

 

For what it's worth, I have the November 2017 brochure / specs as that's what I ordered from - and 'Black roof headlining' isn't on there. So my guess is that it has changed since the SportLine was released, and all the ones you've seen advertised / test driven have been old ones because new ones will only just be starting to be delivered now.

Just to update this thread for the benefit of any other potential Scout owners.

 

Skoda UK confirmed that the Scout does now get the black headlining and plastic A, B and C pillar trims, as per the latest brochure (February 2018).

 

I sat in a SportLine this weekend and can confirm it does look smart. Fingers crossed Skoda UK are correct!

I've had lots of beaver, but no brownies or girl guides. That's just wrong.

Brownies are scrumptious. Especially with ice cream.

 

Agree with you about Girl Guides though - everyone* knows* girls make useless guides because they can't navigate.

I don't suppose you know the build date? Is it a model year 2017 (MY17) or 2018 (MY18).

 

You'll see from the above chat transcripts that Skoda UK think the Scout gets the black headlining (the same as the SportLine), but everyone I've seen has the regular beige headlining.

 

The catalogue changed in February this year (which was when the black headlining was added) which is unusual, Skoda usually wait until the model year change to make changes to the specs.

 

I think Skoda UK might have it wrong.

Build date I don't know off hand. I can tell you the headliner is light coloured but we have dark interior. I hope this helps
