Hi all,

 

First post here, I actually have a Leon, but it has a set of the grey xtremes.. as we all know they suffer from shall we say 'degradation' of the laquer which then leads to the machined bits going all manky and horrible...

Refurb is of course an option, but I wondered If anyone had yet taken the brave decision to either powder coat or spray them in one colour and do away with the machining?

I'm thinking of doing mine gloss black, but would love ot see any pics if anybody has done them in any colour yet?

To answer your question: Skoda themselves do it. For the new Facelift model there is the option of the fully silver xtremes - just google them.

 

I think someone posted a photo of those recently on this forum.

Thank you both for replies, I had no idea they now made them in silver - I notice though that they still have the polished bits... grrr....

 

I have a 184 fr unfortunately not a Cupra... , but it does have AP coilovers, DTUK box, rieger rear diffuser and twin exit exhaust

 

 

Nice car and cool looking with those wheels - definitely different.

Yep, 11mm forge ones f&r. Tyres are 235/35/19 too

I'd be interested to see some pics. Mine are all kerbed by the wife and will eventually get the refurbed and was thinking either gloss black or gloss black with a metallic flake. In a single colour will be easy to touch up when they get kerbed again which is inevitable unfortunately.

Unfortunately for me, with kids who need ferrying about, Mrs D has to do her share of the work. 

 

Our Citigo is therefore shared out too!

 

The parent who doesn’t have the kids gets the little car.

 

However, we live in the countryside with lots of twisty lanes, so the Citigo is almost as fun as the vRS  ;-)

im surprised but the seat looks even better with xtremes!

Hi all,

 

So a bit of an update... I got into a bit of a tangle with a carpark barrier (long story.......) and as a result my car has just had some bodywork done to the NS Rear Qtr, it also scraped the wheel on that side so I dropped the Xtremes off yesterday for powder coating in gloss black so hopefully it will look like the above shortly.. 

 

 

But, this does mean that I have a brand new single anthracite Xtreme alloy in the box to sell, does anyone know how I can upgrade my profile to be able to post in the classified section?

I recently returned some 18” nogaros from a GTD to gloss black. Putting them on a mk3 184 octy. Stealing the extremes off that for my 245 when they arrive.
