Low Voltage to abs sensor

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Just been checking my ABS fault, ESP/ABS lights coming on straight away and staying on. My diagnostic tool told me there was a wiring fault to N/S/F ABS sensor. After a visual check of the wiring as far as I could see all looked OK. I checked the voltage going to the sensor and was only getting approximately 7 volts. As I was doing this I was wiggling the wires but it remained a solid reading. I checked the N/S/F and that was getting 13.5 ish volts, (these checks were done with the engine running.

Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Just an update on this, as it appears no one else on here has experienced it. I took it to TQC in Stoke on Trent, great bunch of lads, and they have sorted it. After a bit of head scratching they found that the wiring loom to the ABS sensor had gone. They removed it and fitted a replacement back to the ECU and all is now good again.
