fitted dash cam

Featured Replies

Hi all, thinking of getting a dash cam for my Karoq & asking Halfords to install it. Has any one tried this so far? How good was the instillation? Do you think it was value for money?...thanks

There is a bit of discussion about it here.

Fitting a dashcam is fairly easy with a piggyback fuse connection.

Just run the cable down the A pillar to the fusebox behind the glovebox.

You’ll need a multimeter or test lamp to check its an ignition switched fuse you’ve chosen.

If you are a practical kind of person its not too difficult.

I've used Halfords for both my cars to have cameras hardwired fitted , great professional service in my opinion, had car for about an hour for each install ,
