And Todays issue.... Sat Nav no longer working.

Today's issue.... Sat Nav no longer working.

Car had been running to 20 mins...

Managed to capture it all on video for the dealer in the morning. showing it not loading but more importantly proving how i get it working again.

So this has occurred a few times now..  The workaround is as simple as popping the SD card out and reinserting it.(while engine and ignition off.) .. Sat nav then springs into life within a few seconds.   (Managed to capture this on video.)

The Knurl wheel issue on the steering wheel has been fine agsain today... so i wonder if we have a software issue here rather than hardware... - see this thread -

I would imagine the SD card is corrupt, does it work in the other SD card slot?

My my16 Superb did the same when I didn't use the skoda SD card when updating the satnav

Dealer said no fault found even though provided video.

Car to be rebooked back in again for software version update.

I think it is the car protesting.

"If you don't keep me clean and get rid of all this dust and crap on the screen I will not work"

I had this issue last night, just randomly happend on the A1.

Mines a very late 2018 car.

Again the work around was getting my passenger to take out the SD card and stick it back in, then it sprung back to life, Luckily just before a roadworks 'Detour', otherwise id have been screwed.

Has anybody else had this fault? and found a soloution? mines a Gen Skoda SD.
