I have looked at the other posts and am still not sure if park pilot is the same as park assist. 

Had the Superb for a few days and very happy with it. Want to use it for towing.

Hi and welcome.  I don't think they are the same as (on mine anyway) there are two separate buttons next to the gear stick / DSG lever. AIUI park pilot shows the likely direction based on how the wheels are turned and gives audible alerts when you get close to something.  Park assist I believe is the auto parking function. 

 

Ask your question in the mk3 Superb owners section and you will get a definitive answer.
