Skoda favia vrs 1.9tdi problem starting when warm

Featured Replies

Ive got a starting problem when warm, the car itself starts but then cuts straight out like theres no fuel feed. After 3/4 attempts of starting it finally starts and drives with no problems, anyone shed some light on what it could be. Not had chance yet to get it plugged in for codes

1.9pd has a starting issue when warm.  something to do with the crank speed being too low when the oil is over a certain temp.  2 garages tried and failed to fix this with things like a new battery (thought low voltage).  Only thing that finally fixed it was a remap.  Noticed recently that some remappers are offering just a warm start fix rather than a full map.
