Anyone had any luck creating personalised POIs - not bothered about traffic cams, I just want to add National Trust and English Heritage sites.

 

I've downloaded appropriate CSV files with icons, and uploaded to my Skoda Connect portal. When I go to my MIB2 Amundsen, connect to Connect, I can press Update and it recognises content has changed, so it goes through the download process. It then tries to install, and just sits there spinning the progress wheel for at least 10 mins.

 

I've also tried uploading via USB, but despite having created the file structures via the VW German site, it claims I don't have any content to import.

 

Anyone shed any light?

FWIW, self-resolved (with help from other posts)

 

The converted DB needs to be on SD Card 2 as opposed to the USB. It also needs to be in the root of the card, ie. The Personal POI folder and metadata file needs to be in the root and not nearly contained in it's own folder, like any sensible person would do...

 

Whilst these files are on your SD card, your MP3s won't be accessible either
