Pre fl Yeti, halogen headlight adjustment

Featured Replies

Ok, had the light units changed recently(left dipping to right dipping), and after driving in darkness, I am not too happy at / with the beam height, can this be manually adjusted using the 3x plastic hex socket / Philips screws or does it need vcds? If by any other means, how do I do it, I have locally a flat car park with a wall and a board for alignment.

The halogen lights should have a height control next to the instrument brightness control.

Or yes you can adjust with the screws without VCDS.

yeah tried that, the only way to achieve a passable high beam range is with the electronic adjustment but that is not very good - I want to bring the distance range up a little. it may be because the optics of the aftermarket units fitted are slightly different to the originals
