Injector loom

Hi 

Recently serviced my car but when I had removed the engine cover it looks like something had been living under it and it has had a nibble on the injector wiring. Car runs fine but I'm considering replacing this part of the loom. Previous owner of the car I think lived on a farm. 

Question is I couldn't find any obvious signs of joints in wires and wondered if anyone has changed this wiring on their mk2 octavia scout 2.0tdi.
