Ammo Frothe

Featured Replies

I have no water or power where I keep my car. I've managed to avoid waterless washes thus far, but it's a pain and something like this, if it works, could be a godsend.

Looks pretty expensive to just take a punt on - does anyone have any experience with it? If so, I'm interested obviously in whether it really lifts dirt without marring the paint, but also what you would put over it (qd, wax etc) and the effects. Thanks.

Looks good. I'd like to try it on someone else's vehicle first though.:D

After following AmmoNYC on youtube for quite some time.  I would suggest that he wouldn't use it if it didn't work.  I believe he formulates this stuff himself if I'm not mistaken.  I know Ammo stuff is quite expensive though and haven't tried it myself (though I have been tempted a few times!)

Thanks Fin. Sadly I don't have a water source where I park. The interesting thing about the frothe is you make up the mix at home and take it with you. They reckon 1.5l is enough for 2-3 cars. Still very wary about whether it would mark the paint though.

This has been recently discussed on another detailing forum, and it would appear that Larry does not use or appear to have any near future plans for a uk reseller.

As has already been said, the products do seem very nice, but the delivery costs are a bit near to eye watering.

Shame really, as I also find Larry's youtube stuff quite enlightening at times.

Yes saw that and can understand it - he has such a large market easily accessible I guess he doesn't need the pain of distributors. Was just going to price it up including delivery but I see the Frothe is already out of stock until next week. So some people are obviously giving it a go. Will wait to see what the comments are before taking it any further.
