is there anyone here in the newcastle upon tyne area have VCDS VAG COM  Diagnostics stuff? ir is just So was driving up a motorway and slowed down to go to a service station and  the Engine  light on along with flashing glow plug. And engine  fault workshop message. Then in to to limp mode.  Guess it could be a number of things. Car has about 60.000 on it has has not has the ea189 update.  happened 4 times in an hour
