I can't seem to connect to either Stanford or Extreme Overclocking this morning.:( :confused:

Anyone else having the same trouble? If not, where should I be looking to find out why it's not connecting?

Yes, I can connect to others fine, but definitely not Stanford's or Extreme's. I've tried it in IE and Firefox. This is also borne out by the fact that the folding signature boxes don't appear.

If my computer is blocking them for some strange reason, how can i rectify that?

All I can think of is that perhaps it's a DNS issue, I have tried to ping both sites and can't resolve the name to an IP address. I suspect my machine has cached the address and that is why I can get through.

My ISP (Plus.net) has published a service notice that says that there is a DNS issue on the internet at the moment...it's a possibility.

Perhaps someone else will have some ideas.

Interesting, I'm on Force 9 (Plusnet) Broadband, so I wonder if that might have something to do with it.:confused:

Just noticed that the Folding signature boxes are now appearing again. Just been to Extreme's site. Still no go on Stanford's, so we might be halfway there.
