I'm looking for a boot organiser-type thing for my '02 A4 Avant. Basically, something that will sit at the back of my boot, around 30-40cm deep and the full width of the boot split into 2-3 compartments, that I can keep random bits and pieces in that would otherwise roll about/get broken - can of de-icer, spare bulbs, a pair of trainers etc.

 

I've seen a few online but they're either ruinously expensive, fill the entire boot or attach to the rear seat headrests, which is no good as the rear parcel shelf is attached to the seats on this model. Has anyone got/seen/heard of anything like this that would fit an A4?

Why not just but 2-3 of the stiff felt boot storage boxes that Aldi/Lidl sell every now and again? I got one just for holding my handwipes and spray paint for work. Velcro on it just sticks to side/floor of the car, about a foot high. Has a lid too.  That way, you can position stuff as you it.
