Spare Wheel

Featured Replies

Hopefully I'll be collecting my MK2 Fabia Black Edition that has that stupid super glue crap for fixing a spare wheel. Not for me. I can get a wheel(15 inch) and tool kit that came from a 2013 Seat Ibiza. My question is will this fit the the Skoda Fabia, 2014 vintage? After all its the same car wearing a different suit.

Attached is a library picture of said Black Edition.

15" rim should fit over calipers for use as a spare, the hub PCD will be the same.

A few things to check;

   If its a pukka Seat wheel then the bolts should be ok (VAG std) otherwise it might need its own set.

   The Ibiza wheel offset may be the same as a 15" fabia wheel, these do vary across models but within 5mm should be ok

Bottom line is you'll have to fit it and see if it contacts anything under the arch

Thanks Octy, for the outlay (less than 50% of dealer price) it is worth a punt. It was bought as a spare for the Ibiza, never used so is basically new.

Yes, do check the offset first, I have a feeling that Polo and Fabia share same offset and A1 and Ibiza share the same offset, but I'll willing to be proved wrong!

I have 15" VW alloys on my wife's 2015 Polo with the bigger front discs (288mm) as winter wheels/tyres and they are okay - just.
