Hey folks, 

 

My traction control light has been coming on after about 10 minutes of driving. If i turn off the ignition and back on it seems to reset itself. I have noticed a very corroded wire (assuming it a earth strap) near the air box. The fault is intermittent and I can go a week without the light coming on, it is however becoming more frequent. 

 

Do you know if this could be related and what the best course of action would be?

I had the same thing with the warning light that carried on for around 6 months. 

Eventually I took it to the dealers (in Worthing) who couldn't find anything wrong but installed a software upgrade (recall) that seems to have sorted the problem.
