Is it the hatch boot? I have just done this on my hatch to access the washer pipe that popped off. The lining is a single plastic piece held on with several small round black plastic pop fasteners around the locking mechanism and then a few larger plastic rectangles that have clip-in edges towards the top where the wiper mechanism is. Plus a few metal spring clips at the sides. They all "just pull out" with a bit of a wiggle. Beware the small black plastic ones tend to ping!  The larger rectangle ones and the metal side ones are attached to the lining. I had to use quite a bit of force on the larger rectangle ones, but it helps to start at one end and pry back the lining – be careful not to crease it – so you can see where the pressure needs to come and what angle to pull. Good luck ;)
