2012 2.0 TDI 170BHP estate  -- After a mirror collision my drivers wing mirror unit is broken.

it is power fold/power adjust/indicator repeat and puddle light..

Does anyone know where I can buy a reasonable second hand unit. I cannot afford £ 540+++ skoda quote.

I have found unit with everything  but power fold  -but it is heated where mine in not.

 

can I have this unit fitted to my car.

 

I woiuld really appreciate guidance.

I had a similar problem last year when someone decided to kick the passenger side mirror off my car. When my local dealer's price came back as ridiculous I went on to eBay and bought a new one for about 300 gbp from Rainworth Skoda's eBay shop. They confirmed the correct part number for me from the VIN/reg.

 

Fitting is a bit of a faff: you need to remove the door card before you can unbolt the mirror assembly. If you're comfortable with mechanical work it's straightforward, just tedious.
