Facelift vRS230 BBS CH-r 19"x8.5J ET40 - will they fit?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Nikhil here, from New Delhi, India. I have searched the forum a lot but unable to find a clear answer regarding this. Sorry for bringing this up.

I have a 2017 Facelift vRS230 Sedan. Planning on buying the BBS CH-R 19"x8.5J ET40. I will be installing coilovers on the car and planning to lower by around 25-30mm, but this will be confirmed only after I install them. So the question as always is will I face any rubbing issues?

As per willtheyfit.com, the wheel will be 1.7mm closer to the strut and the outer rim will poke out 23.7mm as compared to stock. In India we get 17"x7.5J ET51 as stock wheels, someone told me ET49 but I am not sure on that part.

So can someone help me out? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

As per PM, with the wider rear axle of the facelift, the most you'll get away with on an 8.5J rim is ET45....     my 8J ET40 are tight!

Thanks Muzza! As discussed, ET48 sounds like the right choice.
