My Skoda (Fabia) affliction  took full hold about 7 yrs ago when I bought a silver 02 poverty spec Fabia 1.9SD estate, with 134k on it.

Keep fit windows, key in door unlocking system, steel wheels, it 'lacked the full works'.

But I loved it  (in fact I still do).

We owned it for 4 yrs, put another 60k on it, taught both my daughters to drive in it....

Then passed it on to my sister, to learn to drive in.

It is currently shared with her & my dad.

& yes id have it back in a shot :-) .

We replaced it with & still currently enjoy a black 59 plate Fabia Tdi 3 estate, bought with 104k on & now showing North of 168k.

It isn't perfect, (which I shall share with the group, in the coming months) but I love it like it's predecessor.

P.s My dad currently has a blue 07 Fabia VRs, which replaced his black (owned from new butnnow written off) 55 VRs. So I guess it could b in the blood ;-)

I too have a soft spot for the Fabias, now on my third, started with a vRS and now driving a Mark 3 1.0mpi, but I love the Fabia, for a small practical family estate.
