Skoda Laura 1.9 Ambient Diesel * India Model

My vehicle was stopped and diagnosed as battery needs to be changed.

After changing the battery below issue is identified.

 

When Key in the ignition the engine management light is not recognized and the the ESP light glows on the dashboard and the engine is not able to crank ( image 1).

after couple of times removing the key and trying back the engine management light glows and goes then the engine is able to crank (image 2)..
