Skoda yeti spare wheel option

Featured Replies

Hi There,

please could anyone on the forum let me know what comes in the stock car when its delivered without a spare wheel ?

when we purchased our adventure i had to buy spare wheel separately and tomorrow its getting traded in on a new Karoq ,so i want to take out the spare wheel to sell but not sure if stock car came with wheel jack etc or did i buy that also ( sorry it was nearly five years ago )

i know the foam and compressor are in there , but is that all that is supplied ?

thanks in advance ..:)

With no spare the car just had the foam and the pump, no jack or brace.
I think the spare might fit your Karoq, if it isn't coming with a spare.

wish i would of known this as it would have saved me £150 !!!

thanks for for quick reply , just wonder how easy to sell  a brand new wheel and tyre thats never been fitted , or will it sit in my garage for 6 months :wondering:

Most tyre suppliers  “recommend” replacing tyres over 5 years old.

its been sat in the boot of the car, it looks and smells brand new with no cracks from sun uv light.

It will be fine!

Only used as spare and at reduced speed (50mph) I wouldn't worry.

Screwdriver, Locking Wheel nut key, Towing eye, Wire hook and nut cover tweezers were in mine without spare wheel.

Ok thanks so I guess that means wheel brace was not included ?

Yes, if you have no spare wheel then you don't get a wheel brace or a jack.

Thanks AG Falco

If your Yeti came supplied with the spare wheel you'll have got the polystyrene filler boxes with it that fit around the wheel to make the boot floor flat.  With these removed the carpet won't sit quite flat as the boot carpet for a yeti without spare wheel is slightly different.  We found this out after removing the spare wheel from one of our old Yetis and had to source a new boot carpet (which I think we still have as we sold the car with the spare wheel)

Had a look at a Karoq SE L a couple of days ago and it had a 'skinny' spare wheel in the boot 125/70 R 18 if I recall.

Doubt a Yeti spare wheel will be compatible.

I think you can get it with 2 different spares, the silly thin thing you saw OR the same as the one fitted to the Yeti.
The PCD etc is the same as the Yeti.
