Bought my dad a dash cam.for hi citigo and will be fitting it next weekend 

 

Had a quick look and noticed the fuse box is accessible easily but won't be able to put the cover back on once if tapped in to it for power feed 

 

A few threads on here and the up forum suggest drawing it from the accessory socket in the console whcin is ok but any tips for getting the socket out to tap into the wiring behind please

Hopefully can explain it easily enough on here (from memory)

 

The trim below the radio is clipped on, this needs removing to access the 2 top screws to the centre console

Remove the gear knob gaiter to further reveal 4 more screws

Put the car in third gear and release the handbrake to allow you to ease the centre console off

 

This should give you plenty of room to work with

Well what a pain in the bum that was 

never took a car apart that was so difficult and stiff 

nothing broken thankfully and dash cam and led footwell lights installed
