first post !

wonder if anyone can help, am looking for a 17" spare wheel for my Octavia estate 2015 … I have seen a spare alloy for a fabia (17" inch) which is fitted with a 205 40 17 inch tyre … my Octavia has 225/45 r17 tyres on … would anyone know if my tyre would fit this rim, and would it be ok to use as a spare wheel ?

Welcome. 

 The Fabia rims will be 5 x 100 wheel stud pattern, so no use for a Mk3 Octavia.

Thank you Offski for your prompt reply ... would you have any suggestions on sourcing a spare wheel for my car ? ... am off to france for a week the week after next and am reluctant to reply on the supplied repair kit ...
