No fluid at rear washer

Featured Replies

My rear wiper works, but when I operate the washer there's no fluid coming out. I can hear the pump operate though.

Before I start pulling trim panels off, are there any known points where the rear washer pipe breaks, or joints pop apart ?

I've had a pipe pop off the rear wiper motor assembly before on a VAG car, but the water dripping out of the tailgate was quite obvious. Not seen anything obvious yet on the Yeti.

Pinhole not blocked I assume.

Not sure if it applies to the Yeti, but this is a common problem in the MKII Octavia and the screen wash normally pools in the wheel well due to it blowing a pipe joint apart around that area.

+1 on the pinhole blocked. Common problem.

Thanks - I'll check that first. I just assumed it would be a pipe popped off due to previous experiences, I never thought to check the nozzle!
