VRS 245 Maintenance ... Yay or Nay?

Featured Replies

Did any of you guys go for maintenance?

Ive been offered :

Servicing and maintenance for £10.45 a month

+ Tyres =£16.73 a month.

What's the servicing schedule, and im thinking ill def need a pair of fronts in 16k of driving - so am tempted.

Fixed servicing is probably every 10k miles/12 months variable 16k ish/12 months I think. Depends what the car comes set to. Likely you will need two services in 24 months (I'm assuming that as you mentioned 16k miles you are looking at 2 years @ 8k p.a.?) 24 months @ 10.45 is £250ish so probably is worth it IMO.

Tyres - some lease companies limit who you can use, e.g. Kwik Fit, and also what tyres you can choose. If that doesn't bother you, fill yer boots.

Also check does it include damaged tyres or punctures? - again some deals do, some don't. (19" tyres are easily damaged on potholes etc.  )

We have a couple of cars with maintenance/tyres included at work, with different cover - worth checking carefully.

You could swap fronts and rears at 10K.....You shouldn't need any tyres in 16K then?
