Just wondering if any has got one and takes a wheelchair in the boot will it fit ok. Have a disabled

Do you need to fit the wheelchair in the boot with the rear seats up or down?

The boot is pretty generous...

I took a wheelchair in the boot of my Karok SE to the South coast last week. It wouldn't fit upright without taking the parcel shelf off but I put a couple of cases in the bottom of the boot, folded the wheelchair handles down, took the footrests off and laid the wheelchair flat on top of the cases and the rear door shut easily and the parcel shelf closed fully. I had an Octavia estate before and while the Karok boot is not as big, there are other areas where the Karok beats the Octavia for people with mobility problems, such as ease of getting in and out and the high driving position.

Even the SEL has the flexible rear seat feature, brilliantly practical demonstrated to my Dad who has a 62 plate Superb Elegance Estate. He was very impressed.
