Mk3 Superb Paddle Shift swap

Hi

 

Before I start swapping bits over I need a bit of advice.

 

I have a 2018  MK3 Superb 280 L&K with a multi function button steering wheel but no Paddle Shift  which I would like .

 

I have bought a MK3 Octavia Paddle Shift steering wheel and am aware that the buttons on there are different and I need to swap with my Superb buttons.

 

The BIG question is do all MK3 280 L&K have a dormant socket on the left and right switch assemblies  that the mini Paddle Shift plug goes into.  It seems logical that they would use the same switches for paddle and non-paddle buttons but who knows.

No, it's a different switch set, I checked this when I swapped my wheel, you will need to buy the correct switches as well, which is another £80 or so.
