Hi all

 

My vrs is coming up to its 2nd/36k service in less than 1k Miles.

 

Not looking at going to Alex Lawrie or the other localish dealers, but wondering can anyone recommend a good VAG specialist garage within the Merseyside area?

 

Looking at riverside racing in Speke as they have loads of high end marques in all the time like 17-plate Lambos etc.

 

Willing to travel up to 20miles if the price/reviews are right.

Mitchell Skoda at Cheshire Oaks. I personally wouldn't be swayed by expensive cars going to riverside racing.

Booked mine in again today, they get good reviews on here:

They are also accomodating - not bothered about VCDS tweaks etc (told them I had stop start disabled).

I’m not looking at going to a dealer as the OP stated.

 

After somewhere that knows Skoda, will use the proper parts and most importantly doesn’t cost the earth.

 

Heard good things about Riverside. Project Audi keeps getting name dropped too by my mate who gets his RS6 serviced there. 

 

Anyone know of the place I’m looking for? 

You said you were looking for a VAG specialist, which Mitchell's definitely is. But I see what you mean now, you want someone with expertise in VAG but doesn't have a VAG logo over the front door?

 

Not really sure what you're looking for tbh, you have a nice family car there, does it need anything more than what a VAG dealer can provide?

Yeah, I’m after a decent specialist garage that isn’t a dealership. 

 

Putting the feelers out for somewhere within the Merseyside area that somebody might have used. 

 

My car needs a service, I on the other hand don’t necessarily need to pay the £260ish quid for that honour
