Navigation database not available

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Hope someone can help, earlier I did a map update on my Columbus system and it ran through till 100% then said it failed. when I check in the system information it lists 2018/2019 for all maps.

however, now when it starts up it says starting navigation, checking data and learning your frequent routes. It then displays the map and allows me to enter a new destination and start a route, but after say 2 mins it goes black with the message “navigation database not available”.

anyone seen this and know how to fix it?

thanks

I'd suggest back to the dealers for a reset/upgrade

Thanks, I will see. I actually did another update (overnight and this morning) and so far it is working correctly. The only test now is whether it continues to work once I remove the USB stick that I used for the update.

Thankfully it all seems to be working now with the new maps.
