Bulb failure light

Featured Replies

Hi I’ve just bought a Fabia vrs as a daily fun around and it has the bulb failure light on. If I turn on dipped beam light goes out and stays out until I turn dipped beam off! Looking around the forum it would appear as all my lights are working (I have xenons) then it may well be self levers or ballast units which are a possible cause. I have read on this site that this light can be coded out via VAG-Coms so if anyone local to me Sutton Carshalton epsom croydon can help I’d be very grateful and of course I’ll happily pay for your time.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi

If willing to drop down as far as brighton. I can take a look one evening this week. Coding the light out as you said might be possible depending on instrument cluster. But a full auto scan of the car first should indicate the actual fault causing it to illuminate.

You could also look at the VCDS map that is pinned at the top of forum and see if anyone closer
