New car registration

Want to buy a new Karoq can get one from another dealer but told I cant get a first September registration .

It seems to be something to do with emissions can anyone shed some light on it?

With the change in emission regulations any vehicle not complying with the new regs must be registered by the end of August I believe.

Well just got confirmation  that my car confirms to to emmissions and will be registered on September 1st WOW
