Just to confirm, is this for vRS or non vRS 7 seater.

Glad to hear 👍

I guess you’re wondering what to do with the replaced bits too. 😊

I think mine will be heading for the tip soon.

Yeah, exactly where mine will be going!

This is an old thread but bang on my topic. So here goes: just fitted the spare wheel in my Kodiaq but am puzzled by some of the components listed in the instructions - I've highlighted these in the attached.

In the box labelled 1. the two rectangles are referred to on a later page as 'cargo elements'. I can see where they'd go but I haven't got these. What are they for - something essential?

Then - what are the two tools in the bubble labelled 2. for - essential things?

Many thanks in advance for any tips,

Mike

The “cargo elements” are flat plastic strips, hinged in the middle, with velcro along one long edge.  They can be folded to make two “corners”, so you can, for example, put them at the corners of a box in the boot, and stop it sliding around.

Not sure about the tools, but as long as you have the wire hook for removing front section to allow towing eye to be inserted, locking wheel bolt key and the plastic tongs for removing the plastic caps from the wheel bolt you should be sorted.

As above the cargo elements are handy for stopping things sliding around in the boot.

Those velcro Ls are yet another super-cool little function from Skoda! Not for me though as I use a boot mat.

I've got the bits Kenny R mentions - it's good to know I have the essentials.

Thanks very much to Kenny and Dave.

Anyone got an idea of what the other two highlighted tools are for?

Best,

Mike

Those cargo elements are the one thing that's stopping me from buying a boot mat, I find them extremely useful.

The Skoda boot mat is doubled sided plastic one side carpet on other side to which these elements stick.
