High Beam Assist LED's

Featured Replies

Has anyone managed to configure High Beam Assist with the LED lighting package? I've got Lane Assist - so it should be OK - but only information I've found so far is for halogen and bi's.

Got a full autoscan?

Not yet, just got the car two weeks ago - wandering whether it was worth the cost and effort!

I'd be tempted to find a local member with VCDS, they can do an autoscan/adaption maps of any modules and keep a log of anything they've changed.

If the 'normal' instructions don't work, it's working asking around for cars with it from factory as a scan and adaption map from that will probably help.

Might be worth adding where in the UK you are as that'll probably help you find someone rather than shelling out of VCDS or similar straight away :)

Thanks Langers - those were my thoughts - but I got so used to High Beam Assist on my last car - I keep  forgetting I don't have it and there are some disgruntled blind drivers out there!

It isn’t under the infotainment lighting menus already?

Unfortunately not - High Beam Assist is currently  £300+ option - a tad expensive for what is a software coding?

I can code that for you using VCDS. I’m not that far from you. PM me.
