I had that email about a week ago!

Love* the idea that if the oil needs topping up, the system will automatically arrange a service for the dealer to do it. From a corporate point of view, this is awesome and is clearly aimed at stopping people going to Halfords etc. As a customer who can top up their own oil, this could become irksome if there is no way to disable it.

People capable of topping their own oil up are also capable of checking it - so hopefully we’ll spot it needs topping up before the car does. It might be useful for the people who drive around ignoring warning lights though, particularly if sends a clear “by the way, that yellow light means unless you get it sorted soon, you’re risking serious engine damage” notification to their phone.

Was 1 more junk mail for me since SKODA Connect got binned after 12 months.

I would prefer other useful options to be added. Specifically lock and unlock. Real time tracking of the car. Now that would be useful for me. Not for everyone I appreciate..

Interesting about the watch apps. I hadn't realised this and found it on mine. However it's complete rubbish. The data isn't up to date on the watch unless you open the app on the phone, which kind of defeats the object. I wonder if I can give them feedback about this.
