Mk2 Octavia Rough running Engine.

Featured Replies

I had to book my car in for a dealer in Wakefield to have a look at the engine as it suddenly started running very roughly and sounding like the choke was pulled out at tickover. They quickly diagnosed that the engine needed the crankcase breather replacing as it was sucking air into the intake in an uncontrolled manner. Interestingly my car hadn't been to a dealer since before 2011. There has been a recall for the Petrol TFSI Vrs engine for SKODA to replace the Ignition coil Igniters for FREE since 2011. They replaced all 4 for me!! The car is back to normal running now.
