seat belt warning sound

Featured Replies

problem - that annoying sound that tells you that you have not fastened your seat belt.

action taken- consult forum to find out how to disconnect switch, find answer and pull the plug.

outcome - success, annoying noise no longer heard.

Now all I need to do is find out how to get the interior light to work when the driver's door is opened - please don't tell me that I have to reconnect the seat belt switch!

Move the switch into the correct position?

Hope your airbag will work with the seat belt stalk disconnected.

Thanks for the advice, Lummox.

Problem seems to be that now the car thinks that the seat belt is fastened (when it isn't) that it won't put the interior light on.

Hadn't considered the airbag situation although I think that's a different switch.

Now you've got me worried!

The interior light doesnt come on when the seat belt is fastened?

Havent tried that as yet, might well do tomorrow.
