Bulbs

Featured Replies

I have a Karoq 1.5tsi DSG Edition & about to take it to France. Went to my local Skoda dealer who supplied the vehicle, for a set of spare bulbs. Told the spare set of bulbs for this vehicle contained just two bulbs & some fuses. Surely there must be more than just two bulbs that I can change, ok headlights & daylight running lights are LED. But what about fog lights front & rear, indicators front & rear, brake lights, rear side lights, reversing lights?

Don’t know about the UK “Edition” but On my EU “Style”, the are only LED lights. Nothing to Carrey As A spare.

Don’t sweat the french spares requirements. You are only required to have replacement bulbs if one goes out. No random checking or anything of that sort.

The only standard lights on the Edition are the reversing lights and rear indicator lights. All other external lights are LED, although, not sure about rear fog. It looks like LED when lit.

Many thanks. Just for the last 20+ years of holidaying in France driving cars with normal bulbs, I have been use to carrying a box of 6 or more bulbs.
