FLAC files Columbus

Featured Replies

Has anyone been able to play FLAC sound files on the Columbus from a SD card?

I have been able to play FLAC files in my Octavia (Amundsen) but the same tracks won't play on the Karoq Columbus.

I've tried copying the files on to a different SD card, and also tried using exactly the same card that played (and continues to play) in the Amundsen - but although it shows the track names in the Columbus it refuses to play them.

WAV files do play fine, but I'd rather not reconvert my entire collection, especially since the music plays fine on the Octavia's older Amundsen system....any ideas?

according to the online manual these are the types of files you can play, it mentions FLAC but I've not heard about it before maybe this will help you536156870_ScreenShot2018-08-12at19_48_04.thumb.png.59ecf2742dfd28cc31ffd764fca46b29.png

Yes....should play...but doesn't.  The dealer tried the showroom Karoq Edition but also had no success.

Has anyone got FLAC files to play on a Columbus?

I think I read somewhere must be fat32 formatted

Are your files DRM free?

Also did you try playing them from the Jukebox rather than an SD Card?
