Mk1 Fabia vrs no interior lights working

Hi 

I’m having a problem with the lights on the inside of my car. More specifically the interior lights on the roof. I’m going to change the bulbs tomorrow and was wondering how easy it is to take the trim off the lights on the roof.

I got the trim off however two buttons fell off with it. These buttons were the left light ( which easily clipped back in) and the other was the switch that slides left to right. For some reason I couldn’t get this light switch back in but got the left switch in with ease. Not only that but none of my interior lights work anymore. Did I blow a fuse? If so how can this be possible.
