As per title, could anyone tell me if a space saver wheel that I have in my my16 vrs tdi (think it’s 18”) would be suitable to use as a spare in a superb Sportline 190 tdi? Thanks for help and apologies if I’m repeating something that’s been covered somewhere before. 

Probably. but may be worth posting the exact details of your spare in the Superb forum where someone maybe able to check their spare?

Good point, I thought after I posted it maybe I should have posted on the superb section instead! But I also know there’s some very knowledgeable people on here. Thanks, I’ll check precise size (it is definitely 18”) and try over there, cheers! 

My VRS with 19" wheels has an 18" space saver, but as the Superb tyres are 235/40x19 rather than 225/35x19 there is about 30mm difference in overall diameter so not sure if that's significant enough to warrant a different s/s.

 

If you can get the Superb people to confirm the size of their spacesaver tyre and its the same as yours that should clinch it.   

Hope it fits - the one I bought for my Octavia is now in the boot of the Superb which replaced it!
