Which models WLTP tested?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone confirm which models of the Kodiaq have already been through the WLTP testing?

I ordered a Tiguan in May, it was built last week but will be parked on an airfield in Berlin till the Tigs go through WLTP - of which none of them have. I was given an estimated date of February 2019 for pick up.

Went to the Skoda dealer to look at an 18 plate Kodiaq but it had been sold. He fired up a list of vehicles which were currently being built and confirmed as being delivered next month. I explained the Tiguan situation and the sales manager got on the phone. It was confirmed that when the Kodiaq arrives it can go straight on the road - no waiting for the testing - which leads me to believe it's already through?

It's a Sportline 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG.

It isn't as simple as Tiguan vs. Kodiaq.

What model Tiguan have you ordered, and importantly which engine is in it?

2.0 TDI diesel Kodiaq's are supposed to be coming through with relative ease, it's the petrol's which aren't going anywhere fast.

There have been some strange changes to the online configurator too recently, reduced towing capacities on Kodiaq's equipped with sunroof's, but only the SportLine etc.

Each and every derivative has to be tested - hence the huge backlog.

I wouldn't be happy knowing my brand new £30,000+ car is spending a full winter sat on a wet, windy and frosty airfield.
