Media - Bluetooth

Featured Replies

I've just changed form Iphone to Andoid (work reasons, out of my control if I want one phone, let's not go there :)) but with the iPhone if I went to Media > BT Audio > Podcasts I could see all the podcasts on my phone. On the Android I don't think that there's a built in app so I have used CastBox (open to change for a solution here!) but it doesn't show any of them. If I start them playing on the phone then they play through the car and I can pause them on the screen etc. but it's annoying not to be able to select them all on the head unit.

Has anyone else experienced this and hopefully found a way around it? I know Android Auto gets around it but I don't want to have to plug my phone in every journey!

It's an 18 plate Mk3.5 with the base headunit, so Amundsen I think.

Bumping this one as it's really annoying me and I still haven't found a solution!

no, it's not advanced BT IMO.

Any chance you could take a picture of the infotainment you do have?

I'll be honest, the only bluetooth interaction beyond phone calls I've experienced is Spotify and Soundcloud. Both annoyingly refuse to pick up from where they left off when I leave/come back to the car.

If you have the same unit as me, I'll give it a go and see how it goes. :)

Apologies for the delay in replying, got struck down by a sickness bug.

Picture of the infotainment below.

I don't have the same issue as you on the picking up of where I left off. If I switch the car off the podcast stops and when I get back in and switch on again it continues from where it left off.

Bump :)

You have the new unit. Mine has physical buttons, although I will be receiving my FL soon with that unit, so will give it a go.

Thanks, look forward to seeing how you get on with it, in the meantime I'll start downloading more podcast app's to see if that helps.
